Audrey Hepburn's granddaughter signs with Storm Models Harper's Bazaar Sept 2014

Audrey Hepburn, one of the biggest stars to ever grace the silver screen, has passed on the torch to her granddaughter, Emma Ferrer, who was recently signed by Storm Models. The rising star is expected to grace television and various magazines soon.

Here are some facts about who could be the modern day icon for fashion.

1. She never met Audrey Hepburn

Although she is best known for being blood-related to the famous star of "Breakfast at Tiffany's", Emma never got the chance to meet her grandmother. Audrey died in 1993, while Emma was born in 1994. According to Daily Mail, she admits that her grandmother's iconic status can make it difficult for her to establish her own identity in the modeling industry.

2. She debuted on a magazine for the first time in 2014

Emma Ferrer debuted as a model and appeared in the August issue of Harper's Bazaar magazine. She was signed by the world-famous agency Storm Models, which also features supermodels Cara Delevingne, Hailey Baldwin and Kate Moss.

3. She was born in Switzerland

Yahoo! wrote that Ferrer was born in the small town of Morges in Switzerland, located between Geneva and Lausanne. Her birthplace was also where Audrey Hepburn spent the last two decades of her life. Ferrer shared that her parents lived in Morges after Audrey died.

4. She loves art

Emma is an art student. She said in the same Daily Mail report, "I am devoted to art, painting and entering in to the world of aesthetics as a whole."

5. She loves watching Audrey's movies

In an article by Harper's Bazaar, Emma shared how she and her father made it a point to watch her grandmother's movies together. Her favorite is "Funny Face". She said, "To me, she was family. I can live with her through my father. His stories are all about his growing up. But honestly, I haven't seen all of her movies. When I watched Breakfast at Tiffany's, I enjoyed it the same way any young girl would. I've seen My Fair Lady and Roman Holiday, but I suppose my favorite is Funny Face."
