Jamie Carrillo was sexually abused by her teacher Andrea Cardosa when she was 12 years old. The traumatic experience that changed her childhood and the way she grew up to be a mother of two haunted her so much that it was only on Friday, Jan 17, 2014, that she could sum up the courage to tell the teacher how miserable he made her life. She decided to record the video of the interaction and then upload it on YouTube. The video which is shocking and extremely gutsy at the same time has gone viral.

Ms Carrillo, now 28, pondered over suing Ms Cardosa many a time before but she was convinced that the legal process may turn out to be futile as the incident took place over a decade back. Ms Cardosa was the basketball coach at Chemawa Middle School (Riverside, California), the school Ms Carrillo studied in. The disturbing nature of the conversation made the YouTube video an instant hit.

Ms Carrillo attended a press conference outside the school on Monday and asked every student who had been molested by Ms Cardosa to unmask her. The Daily Mail reports Ms Carrillo telling KTLA that the teacher brainwashed her into believing that she "needed her."

Ms Carrillo asked the teacher if she realised what she had done was wrong. The teacher replied that she did realise what she had done was wrong and she regretted it. Ms Carrillo told her that she should be ashamed and disgusted with herself. Ms Cardosa replied, "I am." Ms Carrillo, on the other hand, was shocked that the teacher never apologised to her for what she had done to her.

Ms Cardosa, who is now the assistant principal at Alhambra High School, has reportedly resigned after the video exposed her inappropriate behaviour with at least one of her students.
