Study Suggests iPhone Users More Loyal Than Android Owners
With Apple getting all set with the launching of their new iPhones by Sept 10, many are wondering the quantity of upgrades that will happen among Apple phone users.
And to make the company's confidence stronger, the result of the study made by Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP) renders good news that Apple users stick to their smartphone brand compared to Android owners.
The CIRP study discovered that about 81 per cent of old iPhone users upgraded to brand new gadgets by buying the latest iPhone model launched in the market. According to the Android user statistics, there were just 68 per cent who remained with another Android gadget.
The Reason Behind
According to co-founder of CIRP, Josh Lowitz, the reason behind this strong loyalty of iPhone users is that it offers a sense of comfort that is insurmountable by any other new brand a person is offered to try. With the iOS user, it has been established for a good amount of time its credibility to offer a user experience that is satisfactory.
On the other hand, the Android user seems to be faced most often with a market too wide to explore that it somehow makes decision making a lot tougher. Hence, that challenge can even get even more troublesome each time a new Android phone is set to hit the market.
If one would take the time to notice, Android receives a new device every couple of months like the Moto X, the Nexus 4 and the most recent Samsung Galaxy model. On the other side of Apple, just a single iPhone makes its debut for every year, except for 2013 eventually.
Yes, Android may offer more choices within their system but just like an individual who is already committed yet exposed to the singles market, you'd surely be tempted to try a new one instead of remaining faithful.
With all these, Apple will have a high chance of success rate when it comes to the acceptance of their brand new phones to be launched soon.
