Malala Yousafzai considers herself lucky to be alive. Last year in October, she was shot by Taliban gunmen in Swat, her hometown in Pakistan, as she wanted to go to school. Malala survived the lethal bullet attack as now she continues her fight for education for the women in her country.

If you think getting shot for going to school is a stupid reason, you should take a look of some of the killings happened in the past when people got murdered for ridiculous reasons.

Reason 1: Chopsticks

An angry boyfriend threw his girlfriend from the 12th floor to the ground when they had a fight over some chopsticks. This happened four years back in Singapore when Tan Soon pushed Chong Yin and killed her eventually.

Reason 2: Chewing Gum

A teenage boy was accused of murdering the twin brother after they had an argument over some chewing gum. The teenager from Columbia, Tenn., took one kitchen knife only to stab his brother to death.

Reason 3: Chicken Tikka

Himanshu Batra, a young software engineer, was trying to get off his car in a market of New Delhi, India when the car door knocked Surya Prakash accidentally. Prakash was carrying a plate of delicious Chicken Tikka and it fell down. He took out one pistol and shot Batra twice firing four rounds.

Reason 4: Xbox

Marcus Reed allegedly killed three of his brothers as he suspected them of stealing his Xbox. He shot his brothers, Jerimiah, Jean Adams and Jarquis, while they stayed back in a car. Reed had a belief that one of these three was behind the burglary happened earlier in his girlfriend's home.

Reason 5: Parking Spot

Detective Stevenson got involved in a fight with 25-year-old Sian James over one parking spot. James allegedly took a concrete chunk and hit Stevenson on his head. The latter died in a hospital.

Reason 6: Remote Control

A teenage boy, 13, killed his teenage sister, 17, in Zhukovka, Siberia when he shot her in her face. He committed the murder with one hunting rifle as they had a brawl over the possession of a remote control. However, the boy was spare by the law because of his age.
