In Suits Season 3 Episode 4, 'Shadow of a Doubt', it is going back to the person whom you trusted once as new relationships are not proving to be trustworthy and beneficial. Harvey (Gabriel Macht) says to Jessica (Gina Torres), "I trust him." He is talking about Darby's fixer, Stephen Huxley (Max Beesley). But, he knocks at the doors of Jessica to help him out with Ava Hessington's (Michelle Fairley) case. The trusting Stephen did not work out well.

Harvey and Stephen team-up to take on Hessington Oil's rival Tony Giannopoulos. Harvey's idea is to sue Tony Giannopoulos for colluding with Cameron Dennis (Gary Cole). Mike (Patrick J. Adams) comes up with ideas on how to sue the shark but Stephen says, "He can do better" and places a bet of $5000. Harvey raises that bet and says, "He can do better" and puts Mike off the case. Tony Giannopoulos does not mind wasting millions of dollar but looks a little rattled, which makes Harvey and Stephen think they have succeeded in cornering him. Cameron had leaked Ava's bribery tape, the evidence, to Tony Giannopoulos, which got her ousted from her own company.

However, Tony Giannopoulos starts driving Hessington Oil shares to the ground and also takes-over the companies of Pearson-Darby's clients. He fires the law firm, which does not sit well with Jessica. Also, Ava says that she prefers rotting in the jail to seeing her company destroyed. Stephen goes behind Harvey's back and goes after Tony Giannopoulos' family and hits him below the belt through his daughter. When Harvey questions that, Stephen says that it is not about me going personal with Tony Giannopoulos but it is more about him getting personal with Donna.

Stephen and Donna (Sarah Rafferty) business was booming, when he brought that up. Donna is impressed with his remarkable thoroughness in the bed and it is showing on her glowing face. Rachel tells her that Harvey is going to find that out soon as it is all over her face. Sarah says, "come on, you're a woman, men are oblivious." She did underestimate men when it comes to noticing the "there is something different about you look."

Louis (Rick Hoffman) tells Donna, there is something different about you, and asks, "What is it?" Donna says that she is just been doing some yoga. Louis, however, does not buy that explanation and says, "You're practically glowing, tell me your secret." When Donna refuses to share, he asks her to keep doing whatever she is doing, morning, evening, night - five times a day if necessary.

Donna decides to not tell Harvey about her and Stephen's steamy arrangement as she comes to the conclusion that Harvey and she are here and Stephen and she are there and it is not necessary to tell about what is there. However, she soon has her one to one talk with Harvey and tells him that she is sleeping with Stephen. Harvey does not look surprised and just says, "I can see that." Donna wants to hear more than that, as she asks, "that is all you're going to say." To her, he does not sound upset. Harvey asks the mandatory questions when and why she didn't tell him, before. Harvey says he is fine with the arrangement as long as "that does not affect this."

Louis had lost his associates to Nigel (Adam Godley) in Suits' first episode of Season 3, 'The Arrangement.' And, Nigel is instructing the associates through memos, sitting in a distant land. Louis has a problem with that and says, "they're like grains of sand and they need pressure and heat to shape them into glass," memos sent from the distant land cannot do that. "I'm not going to let you shatter the glass that I spent years blowing. And, I am surely not letting the likes of you tell me who I can and cannot blow."

Nigel has the last laugh by sending presents to associates, dolls that have "blow me" written on them. However, Nigel's cat breaks the ice between the two as they both turn out to be cat men. Also, when Nigel has to go to Hong Kong, he gives the responsibility of his cat to Louis.

Off the Hessington Oil case, Mike has an embezzlement case to resolve. He takes Rachel with him, wanting her to play Mike to his Harvey. The couple confessed "I Love You" in the last episode, 'Conflict of Interest' and in this episode 'Shadow of a Doubt', problem areas surface. Rachel is not keen on introduce him to her parents as she fears that her father will find out that, he is a fraud. However, later she does take him home for dinner with her family. He gets along with them and is able to avoid the grilling from her father, Robert Zane (Wendell Pierce). However, he finds out through him that Rachel has applied to Stanford University. It causes the first major conflict between the two. Donna and Stephen's short-term arrangement also sees a fissure because of what Stephen said to Harvey. He confesses that he is affected by her, more than he expected.

Harvey goes to Jessica, saying "your name is still on the board and I've come to you for help." Jessica successfully convinces Ava to sell her shares to her rival and get the reign of her company as CEO back. Tony Giannopoulos wants to own Hessington Oil, while Ava wants to control it. Stephen finds Harvey going to Jessica ironical as he says "she does not know you dig her own grave."

Jessica wants to make Harvey one of the partners as things are turning out to be unpleasant with Darby. She comes to Harvey's office with a gesture, "Pearson-Darby-Specter." It is going-up the wall the next morning. She says that Darby is treating her, the same way as she treated Harvey and now realises how Harvey must have felt. She wants Harvey to be on the same side. Harvey is sceptical as he should be and feels that it is one of her chess moves, again. However, she is regretting merging with Darby. It is an interesting move but it has put Harvey in a fix because of his deal with Darby.

What will happen when Jessica finds out about Harvey's deal with Darby? And, Stephen cannot be trusted and may become the mischief-maker and cause the fall of Harvey. It looks like, Suits' got itself a handful of complications.
