Suits Season 3 Finale Spoilers, Questions: Donna 'Ships Harvey-Scottie; Louis Litt Finds Out, Mike Ross Revealed [PHOTOS]
Sarah Rafferty Teases What's Coming Up Next
Cliffhangers on Suits Season 3, Episode 10, the summer finale of the USA Network series, will nag avid fans for months. Meanwhile, Sarah Rafferty, who plays the clever Donna Paulsen, assures fans that Donna is rooting for Harvey and Scottie.
Spoiler alert: This feature contains spoilers for those who have not seen Suits Season 3, Episode 10, called, "Stay." This is the mid-season finale of the USA legal drama.
Here are some of the questions left by the mid-season finale of Suits Season 3:
5. Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) is moments away from confronting Mike Ross (Patrick J Adams) about his Harvard secret. What will he do and how will the others deal with him?
"Louis started off as the bad guy and his journey is moving towards becoming more likable," Suits creator Aaron Korsh told The Hollywood Reporter (THR). Korsh further explained it is Mike who's "becoming harder in this world of sharks."
Suits Season 1 Louis Litt would definitely tell on Mike Ross. But what would this 'new Louis' do? The answer is expected to show in Suits Season 3, Episode 11.
4. Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) proposes - well, sort of. Harvey tells Scottie (Abigail Spencer), "I want you in my life." For a proud man who's best line is "I care about you," Harvey's efforts at making Scottie stay opens a new story for the couple - and for Sarah Rafferty's Donna Paulsen.
"[Suits does not] give season enders that we then pretend didn't happen in the first episode [upon the show's return]," Korsh said THR. "They're going to move forward. We pick up where we left off," he said further. The second half of Suits Season 3 is expected to delve deeper into this new chapter that Harvey has opened. How does it affect the firm and the people around him?
3. Suits Season 3 presents the back story of Donna and Harvey. And then it shows Harvey as he almost-proposes to Scottie. What about Donna?
"There are people who, any direction you go, you're going to make the ones who 'ship that relationship happy and the ones who don't, unhappy," Korsh said. He also told THR there were a couple of developments this year that weren't planned in the beginning. This could mean that anything goes next year, when Suits Season 3 returns in early 2014.
2. Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle) practically coerced Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) to break the firm's Harvard rule. How will this play out in the long term?
Korsh said Rachel and Mike Ross will have to figure out first whether they'd move in or not. These things have been settled: 1) Rachel would work at Pearson Specter, 2) Rachel and Mike do not have to be in a long distance relationship, and 3) Jessica Pearson can leave the couple alone - for now.
1. Sarah Rafferty can compete with Gabriel Macht and Patrick J Adams in terms of followers. She has been such a fantastic presence in Suits, from Season 1. Even the cunning Stephen Huntley (Max Beesley) has no power over Donna Paulsen. Now what does Sarah think of the summer finale?
"Donna's actually rooting for Scottie," she said in a separate THR interview. "Donna's cheerleading Harvey in that relationship and hoping the best for him and that he can be happy in a relationship."
Suits Season 3, Episode 11 is expected to run in early 2014. Mike Ross, Harvey Specter, and Jessica Pearson are expected to face Louis Litt and deal with Mike's no-Harvard, no-license, all-fake situation.
