'Suits' Season 3: Olympian Michael Phelps All Set to Appear as Himself
USA Network's legal drama "Suits" Season 3 has been riveting. It is soon going to take a break and return in January 2014 for the second instalment.
We hope that the first instalment of "Suit" Season 3 will settle Ava Hessington (Michelle Fairley) murder trial, without any loose-ends. It will pave the way for new, interesting clients to appear in the second instalment. According to reports, Harvey (Gabriel Macht) meets a high-profile, potential client, with whom he has a History. Olympian Michael Phelps is set to appear in the second instalment of "Suits" Season 3.
"Michael Phelps is set to guest star in the midseason premiere of "Suits," Huffington Post reports. The 22-time Olympic gold medallist will appear as himself in one of the episodes.
Huffington Post reports that the swimmer is likely to come face to face with Harvey. Phelps is the prized client that Harvey failed to bag. "The athlete makes Harvey confront their prickly past when Scottie (Abigail Spencer) tries to land him as a client," according to Huffington Post.
"Suits" is one of Phelps' favourite drama series. He had tweeted, "#suits season 3 is awesooommeee!!!" It is no surprise that he agreed to do the cameo.
This is not the first time that the swimmer is appearing on T.V. to show his acting skills. He made his T.V. debut on HBO's drama series "Entourage," in 2008. Also the same year, he hosted an episode of "Saturday Night Live."
The first instalment of "Suits" Season 3 has revolved around Ava's case. The season had started with the merger of Pearson with London based Darby's (Conleth Hill) law firm, and Harvey deciding to bring down Jessica (Gina Torres). First the bribery charges against Ava and then her murder trial have provided the major legal conflict this season. Unlike previous two seasons, Harvey wasn't called upon to fix other high profile, legal cases in Season 3 of "Suits."
The upcoming episode of "Suits," "The Endgame," may finally settle Ava's murder trial and prove her innocence. It was revealed in "She is Mine" that Stephen (Max Beesley), Darby's fixer, is the one who ordered the murder of six people to fix the pipeline deal in Ava's favour. It will not be an easy win for either Ava or Harvey, but a win is expected.
