'Suits' Season 4 Update: SEC Investigator to Uncover Pearson & Specter's Wrong Doing
There is one more new addition to the growing cast-list of "Suits" for Season 4. Neal McDonough has been roped in to play an SEC Investigator, called Sean Cahill. He will be seen in a recurring role.
USA Network's press statement describes Cahill as a "bulldog." He has been tasked by Eric Woodall to uncover wrongdoing at Pearson & Specter, and will be going "toe-to-toe" with anyone.
"Suits" Season 3 finale introduced Woodall as U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York. He believes that Harvey is one of the bad lawyers and he should be punished. Woodall grilled Mike and tried to implicate him as a bribe giver to settle the case against Hessington Oil. Woodall wanted Mike to testify against Harvey. It looks like Woodall will be returning in the new season with more determination than before to nail down Harvey.
Meanwhile, DB Woodside will portray the character of a former-SEC prosecutor, Jeff Malone. He is a financial expert and has a personal stake in Harvey's firm. Woodside's expertise will be needed when Pearson & Specter will deal with one of the toughest challenges. It looks like Woodall and Cahill team would be presenting that challenge for the firm.
Also, Melanie Papalia has been roped-in to play Mike's bright and quick-witted secretary, Amy. "She develops a nearly instant rapport with Mike, aiding him in capacities both personal and professional, ensuring that even in tough times he keeps his eye on the ball," according to USA Network. Papalia has a recurring role.
And, Brendan Hines will be portraying the role of Logan Sanders, a son of a millionaire entrepreneur who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. This character is a rich, spoilt-brat and is not used to hearing the word no. According to USA Network's press release, "his (Sanders) desire to prove himself by making a splashy acquisition will put him squarely in the middle of a conflict between Harvey and Mike."
As Mike will be working at a new firm and as an investment banker, one can expect to see more new faces.
"Suits" is scheduled to return on June 11, 2014, for Season 4.
