'Suits' season 6: Mid-season premiere countdown; Storylines to look forward to

The countdown for the mid-season premiere of “Suits” season 6 has begun. The producers are releasing teasers online about the interesting storylines to look forward to when the show returns. Each character has his/her own challenges this year, while everyone struggles to keep the firm afloat.

The big moment on the show this time around is marriage. Rachel (Meghan Markle) and Mike (Patrick J. Adams) have been engaged for a while now, will they finally tie the knot? There are many challenges the two characters have to face, as one prepares for a life as a lawyer in a firm that is near bankrupt, and the other has to choose a new career.

Louis (Rick Hoffman) and Tara Messer (Carly Pope) are also engaged. But, their relationship has been complicated, with many ups and downs. If there is trouble in this relationship, it will be hard for Louis to cope, and he will expect the support of everyone in the firm.

Perhaps the next big relationship question in “Suits” season 6 will be about Harvey (Gabriel Macht) and Donna (Sarah Rafferty). The two were last seen holding hands at the office. Will they take the next big leap, and become a couple?

The title of the mid-season premiere episode is “She’s Gone.” The plot is expected to focus on how Louis and Harvey manage the firm on their own, now that Jessica (Gina Torres) has left the firm. The character chose to follow her heart and reconnect with what inspired her to be a lawyer in the first place.

“Suits” season 6 episode 11 will air on Jan. 25. The show can be watched in Australia on Foxtel’s Universal Channel. The show will also be available later on iTunes and Google Play. Only six more episodes remain in the current season.
