Suits Season 3 Episode 6, 'The Other Time', switches between ten years back and present and each scene of the past reveals a little more detail about the characters that we have come to love.

Ten years back, Harvey (Gabriel Macht), Donna (Sarah Rafferty), Jessica (Gina Torres), and Mike (Patrick J. Adams) were on the verge of taking a leap. Mike was going to Harvard and Harvey was all set to become the head litigator at the DA's office. Jessica and Daniel Hardman (David Costabile) were on the verge of taking over the firm Gordon Schmidt Van Dyke, Jessica's original employers. And, Donna spent a night with Harvey, with whipped cream.

Jessica is the only character that got to take that leap. Mike landed in trouble because Trevor (Tim Lipinski) had to pay a drug-dealer. Unknowingly, Trevor sold Math's test answers to the Dean's daughter -- Mike had memorized the test and provided the answers. The Dean not only expelled him from the school but also told Harvard about that. He could never get into Harvard, again. In this episode, he tells Rachel ( Meghan Markle) that Stanford Law is his dream for her and shows her his Harvard letter.

Harvey quits his job at the DA's office after he comes to know that Cameron Denis (Gary Cole) did not file a part of the evidence in a case that they had won. Donna acted like his moral compass at the time. We get to see that it was more than just boss-secretary relationship between the two. Donna's policy that she does not get involved with men at work thwarted Harvey's attempt to woo her.

They spent a night together when Harvey quits his job at the DA's office. He takes-up Jessica's offer to join her firm Pearson and Hardman as an associate, and brings Donna along as his secretary. He told Jessica at the time "She is very special."

They never again mention the night that they had spent together. Donna became his secretary, and the possibility of a romantic relationship between the two ended before it could be explored, further. Harvey in this episode of Suits finally confesses to Donna that it bothers him that she is with Stephen (Max Beesley). Donna wanted to hear that.

In the present time, Cameron is not ready to give-up and makes it appear that he has a witness to testify against Ava Hessington (Michelle Fairley). But, Stephen, Darby's fixer, makes it a fact. He puts the witness on the plane to testify against Ava and prove that she ordered the killing of six men. He is the colonel that Ava bribed to get the pipe-line deal in her favour.

It was lovely to see Edith Ross, who played the role of Mike's grand-mother, back in Suits.
