Warning: Spoiler alert for those who have not seen Episode 5: "The Break Point"

"Suits" last week showed the firing of Pearson Hardman's smartest and most valuable assistant, Donna (Sarah Rafferty). This week in Episode 6: "All in," Harvey (Gabriel Macht) and Mike (Patrick J. Adams) are on their own.

Of course "Suits" fans know Donna is bound to stay. She is not going anywhere-- not yet. It has already been hinted that she and Harvey have a romantic past. Her character cannot leave the show without this past being exposed. The series is not there yet.

Speaking to Wetpaint last week, Rafferty mentioned having read Suits scripts from up to Episode 10. She would not have read the scripts past Episode 5 if she were already gone, right?

"Suits" favorite character: Donna, the fake-crying, conniving, sharp and witty assistant

Donna's scenes are always anticipated each episode. Will she have another moment of fake tears? How will she tell Harvey or Mike to get back to Earth when either one of them is acting silly arrogant? What one-liners will she pull?

Needless to say, she is the tough heart of the show at Pearson Hardman. Without Donna, the cast is out of balance. Oh wait - Jessica (Gina Torres) did fire Donna. She did make a mistake with that memo. But how did that happen?

Rafferty admitted she could not believe her character could make such a colossal mistake.

"They told me [what was going to happen] before we started the season.... it was so bizarre," she said.

"I don't understand! I thought she was always right. That's her thing! She's always right. And they were like, 'She's going to be really wrong about something.'"

What will happen to the Harvey-Donna relationship?

Donna is more than just Harvey's assistant. It has been implied many times throughout the series. In fact, the viewers have yet to find out what that mysterious can opener stands for in their history. (It was seen in last season's finale, then Donna pulled it from a locked drawer last week.)

Certainly, their friendship (which could have been bonded by a past romance) is in trouble over her firing.

Rafferty said she was told "it's going to get messy and complicated, really complicated, between them."

"It's not something that's easily resolved. It's not resolved in the next 47 minute episode. It's something that's going to continue to impact them going forward," the actress said.

How much does 'Donna' know?

Rafferty told Wetpaint she has read through Episode 10, but "I have no idea what happens 11-16."

Asked whether she thought Harvey would come to her rescue, Rafferty said:

"I can tell you that she expects him to. She really expects Harvey to do that. And to be totally honest, some of that I might not know about yet! But she definitely expects him to, and I imagine that he would. They have such a symbiotic relationship."

Relax, Donna fans. Viewers have not seen the last of her yet.
