Supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio Shows Support For Kendall Jenner Amid Bullying Reports
Kendall Jenner is the model of the moment after successful multiple outings during both the fashion weeks in New York and Milan. Success always comes with detractors, and the reality star turned high fashion model has been swamped with issues including a magazine calling her fat and reports of bullying backstage during New York Fashion Week. Despite all the negativity, Kendall seems to have the right people on her side including the world's leading fashion designers and respected models like Alessandra Ambrosio, who recently posted a photo praising the newcomer.
While in Milan, Alessandra took a moment backstage to have a photo with the famous teenager and posted it on her Instagram site. The supermodel captioned it: "With the beautiful @kendalljenner #backstage at the@bottegaveneta show #milanfashionweek! Thanks@kegrand"
Both models were fresh-faced with their hair up in buns just before getting prepped to walk the runways. Alessandra's rave came after reports surfaced that Kendall had been bullied by other models during New York Fashion Week because some girls felt that she was able to book her place in the runway due to her fame and family name and not through her merits as a model. None of the bullies' identities have been revealed, but Kendall seems to be getting along swimmingly with at least some of the models based on posts on her own Instagram site where she could be seen interacting with other models.
While it's true that Kendall does have her family's reality show to thank for her fame, the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star has since walked in other fashion shows before this year's New York Fashion Week. She has worked for brands like Marc Jacobs and Chanel. She is not exactly a rookie in the industry and has appeared in numerous magazine covers and photo spreads through the years.
Kendall also seems to be strengthening her bonds with other Victoria's Secret Models like Alessanda as she appeared in the coffee table book "Angels" by renowned photographer Russel James, as reported by Independent. The book starred Kendall alongside Victoria's Secret runway veterans like Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel and Lily Aldridge.
Kendall's sister Kourtney may have jumped the gun by calling her sister a supermodel on her Instagram site last week but that may not be far-fetched if things keep going well for the youngster. Not only is she rubbing elbows with supermodels, but in the past two weeks alone, she has also worked the runways for some of the world's most recognizable brands like Dolce and Gabbana, Pucci, Fendi, Tommy Hilfiger, Diane Von Furstenberg and Ralph Lauren.
