Breastfeeding in public is not a crime but some mommies think it is a private affair that need not go public. Brazilian model Gisele Bündchen is facing huge backlash from mommies around the world after she posted a casual picture of herself breastfeeding her little girl on Instagram. The picture shows the 33-year-old getting ready for a show while breastfeeding her one year old.

Some mothers blasted the Brazilian beauty for the shot which shows her getting her nails done on one side and two other men working on hair. Gisele meanwhile is seen breastfeeding her one-year-old baby who is placed snugly on her lap. See photo here.

"What would I do without this beauty squad after the 15 hours flying and only three hours of sleep #multitasking #gettingready," captioned the mommy about the photograph. Mothers have commented heavily on the picture saying breastfeeding is a private affair and Gisele should not have done it in front of so many people. Some opinions also state that the supermodel mommy should not have shared the picture on Instagram.

"I think breastfeeding is a very personal thing," said Denise Albert, co-creator of TheMoms.com, to ABC News on Wednesday. "And for her to put this on Instagram while she's getting her hair and make-up done is a little outrageous, and I think obnoxious."

There are mothers who also think that Gisele is doing a great job by nursing her little one when she needs. There is nothing to be ashamed of when you breastfeed. This photo is a wonderful representation of breastfeeding. In fact, Huffington Post has written an article on Gisele commending her approach to breastfeeding saying, "If Only All Moms Could Breastfeed Like Gisele."

In addition, Gisele's fans on her Instagram page couldn't have agreed more.

"People are asses. Do what you have to do girl! When a child is hungry, there is no waiting," writes ssgt on Instagram page of Gisele.

"Bravo @giseleofficial! Thank you for your vocal support of breastfeeding," writes another fan of Gisele named pookaparts.

Gisele is doing no harm in feeding the baby when she is hungry and one should actually commend her to continue breastfeeding till 1 year of age when most people find it tough to continue beyond initial months. Her picture speaks volumes about her as a mommy. It proves she puts mommy duties first before modelling. It is also an example of how good mothers are at multitasking. What do you think of Gisele's act?
