It is undeniable that the major focus of "Supernatural" Season 10 will be on demon Dean Winchester and actor Jensen Ackles who portrays the TV character. The 36-year-old CW star admitted during interviews that he had some difficulties in transitioning normal Dean to the twisted demon Dean in the "Supernatural" Season 10 episodes.

"Supernatural" co-star Jared Padalecki, who portrays Sam Winchester in the CW TV series, already had the experience of shifting his normal character to different versions such as the possessed Sam, the soulless Sam or the Sam with the demon blood in his system. For Jensen Ackles, it became a big challenge for him because he is not only portraying a different Dean but he is also directing an episode with Demon Dean in it.

"It was very difficult because it was Dean but it wasn't Dean, and it was a twisted version of Dean. So, yes, to navigate that and to keep those lines somewhat clear in my mind was difficult. It's not something I've had to do before. So I struggled with it a little bit," Ackles admitted at the 2014 Vancouver Supernatural Convention. Click HERE to watch the video.

Even though Jensen Ackles struggled with the new character, the actor promises that the demon Dean will offer the viewers a "little extra excitement" in "Supernatural" Season 10. "It's fun because he ends up being too much for Crowley to handle, so to speak," Ackles teased in a TV Line interview.

The actor further described his demon Dean character or "Deanmon" as teased in the promo trailer to be the "ultra version of a womanizing party animal" that does not really care about anything. With this new kind of life for Dean, Jensen Ackles teased that his character will make sure that Sam does not find a way to bring him back to his human or hunter life.

When asked about the effect of demon Dean's behaviour with his relationship with Sam, actor Jensen Ackles revealed that it will be a little heavy to deal with in "Supernatural" Season 10 since demon Dean does not want to be found or fixed. The actor explained that Dean will hide from Sam because he is having too much fun as a demon and he does not want his brother to undo his demon status.

"Supernatural" Season 10 will return with the twisted demon Dean Winchester in the premiere episode titled "Black" on Tuesday night, Oct. 7, at 9 p.m. ET on the CW Network.
