'Supernatural' Season 10 Spoilers: Actor Misha Collins Teases Castiel's Reaction on Demon Dean, Reveals Reason for Success of TV Series
Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki) will not be the only one shocked when he finds out about Dean's (Jensen Ackles) new life as a demon in "Supernatural" Season 10. Actor Misha Collins teased what Castiel's reaction will be with Dean being a demon, what will happen to the Castiel-Metatron war and revealed why the CW TV series became a success.
Sam and Castiel are expected to work together in Season 10 to save Dean. According to the Enstars report, Misha Collins revealed at the Jus In Bello Con panel last May that Castiel is willing to sacrifice a lot when it comes to saving the Winchesters.
It looks like Castiel will still do everything he can in Season 10 to help Dean even though his angel grace is diminishing. Furthermore, the 39-year-old actor shared the mixed reaction of Team Free Will's angel when he finally sees the demon Dean.
"I think that he really thought that he was dead. I think that Cas will react when he sees Dean...[by being] happy that Dean's alive and then he'll be sad that Dean's a demon," Collins stated. Meanwhile, the MStars News report had the "Supernatural" actor giving the fans a preview on Castiel's war with Metatron (Curtis Armstrong).
Misha Collins thinks the Castiel-Metatron war will become personal in Season 10. "It's been a great storyline and there's more of it to play out in Season 10. But the cliffhanger, I can tell you, going from Season 9 into Season 10 is fantastic. It's great," Collins declared.
The report further added that Misha Collins acknowledged the fans as the reason behind the success of the CW TV series when IGN asked the actor how "Supernatural" reached the milestone of having ten seasons. "I don't know what the secret to our success is. I think it's largely our fans. We have an incredibly devoted, loyal group of fans who love the show, and I'm sure that we're where we are because of them," the actor admitted.
Furthermore, Misha Collins shared that the writing, characters developing and doing something different on the show make the fans interested. "Supernatural" Season 10 is set to return to the CW Network this fall where Sam and Castiel will try to save Dean from being Crowley's (Mark Sheppard) disciple.
