‘Supernatural’ Season 11 spoilers: Lucifer to appear in mid-season finale; Sam, Crowley team up [VIDEO]

The storyline on Amara/The Darkness (Emily Swallow) will resume in the mid-season finale episode of “Supernatural” Season 11. Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) must quickly find a way to stop The Darkness from fulfilling whatever she plans to do in “Supernatural” Season 11 episode 9 titled “O Brother, Where Art Thou?” [Spoiler Alert!]

The synopsis of “Supernatural” Season 11 mid-season finale episode in a Comic Book Movie report teases that Amara is going to unleash her power on the residents of a local town as she issues a shocking challenge. The mid-season finale episode’s synopsis further revealed that Dean will try to understand his connection with The Darkness.

In the premiere episode of “Supernatural” Season 11, Amara told Dean that the Mark of Cain will keep them bound together, and they will always protect and help each other. The promo video of “Supernatural” Season 11 episode 9 teases that Amara and Dean’s bond will also be an intimate one because the two are seen kissing.

Meanwhile, the mid-season finale episode will also feature the team-up between Sam and the King of Hell, Crowley (Mark Sheppard). The synopsis of episode 9 in a Carter Matt report teases that Sam and Crowley are going to come up with a plan.

However, Sam and Crowley’s plan could have terrible consequences. The plan may have something to do with Sam’s need to go to Lucifer’s cage because of the visions that God gave him after praying in the premiere episode.

In “Supernatural” Season 11 episode 8, Sam told Dean that he thinks God wants him to go to Lucifer’s cage, but Dean insisted that it is not going to happen. Dean assured his younger brother that there is another way.

The mid-season finale episode will also bring back “Supernatural” character Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino). “I am your only hope,” Lucifer declares in the promo video.
