The fans can now get a glimpse of what will go down in the premiere episode of “Supernatural” Season 11 through the recently released CW Network promo photos. The images tease on the fate of the Winchester brothers, Castiel and Crowley in “Supernatural” Season 11 following the events that happened in the previous season’s finale.

Spoiler Alert: This feature contains major “Supernatural” spoilers.

Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) will be working on a case in the premiere episode that involves a police officer and a baby in a hospital as teased in the promo photos. As for the other “Supernatural” characters, Crowley (Mark Sheppard) appears to have walked away unscathed from Castiel’s attack. Click here to see photos.

However, Castiel (Misha Collins) will continue to be affected with the “Attack Dog Spell” that Rowena (Ruth Connell), Crowley’s witch mother, placed on the angel in the finale episode of “Supernatural” Season 10. In the upcoming new season, the “Supernatural” characters will also be dealing with a pre-Biblical threat called the Darkness.

The finale episode of the previous season showed the arrival of the Darkness after the Mark of Cain was successfully removed from Dean’s arm. “Supernatural” cast members Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki teased in an Entertainment Weekly (EW) interview that the threat of the Darkness in the CW TV series’ new season will unify the Winchester brothers after being in conflict with each other in the previous seasons.

Padalecki shared that Sam and Dean are finally accepting the fact that they are stronger when working together. “And this far into the season, they’re certainly acting on that and I like it, personally,” Padalecki told EW.

As for the storyline involving Death (Julian Richings), Jensen Ackles teased that Dean will face the consequences of killing Death in the new season. Dean summoned Death in the previous season’s finale episode for help.

Death agreed to take Dean far away but he must kill Sam so that his younger brother will not try to find and rescue him. However, the strong bond between the Winchester siblings won over, so Dean killed Death instead.

“What does that mean for all the reapers? And what does that mean for that part of the equation? And how is that going to rear its ugly head, which you know it will,” Ackles teased. “Supernatural” Season 11, episode 1 titled “Out of the Darkness, Into the Fire” will premiere on Wednesday night, Oct. 7, at 9/8c on the CW Network.
