"Supernatural" will see Sam finding his "love of a lifetime," says new executive producer Jeremy Carver.

Fans will also see new details about Dean and Castiel's time in purgatory. The purgatory arc will be told through flashbacks. How the purgatory will impact Dean in his life will also come to unfold next season.

"You're certainly going to see more of [Castiel] in terms of understanding what happened in purgatory, and that's as far as we're going, because it's fairly significant what happened in purgatory. Purgatory has a very different effect-and different types of beings that are down there. Just because [Dean's] driven and he's very into hunting, it doesn't mean all is well," Carver told E! Online.

"Supernatural" Season 8 will premiere on October 10.

To help the fans with their Sam and Dean fix, Spoilers Guide shared some new behind the scenes photos.

Meanwhile, the outlook is good on Sam's love life. He will meet someone he can be serious with, and their love can potentially last for real.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Carver said the following about the new woman for Sam: "To say that he has met a woman who could stand as the love of his life to this point, would not be an overstatement... It's a meaningful relationship."

Supernatural good through Season 10?

Jensen Ackles (Dean) and Jared Padalecki (Sam) have contracts with the series through season ten. Only ratings could shake things up. As long as the fans are holding on, the CW is likely to keep the evil-fighting brothers on TV.
