The CW Television Network released the extended promo trailer "Hell Raiser" for the excited viewers of the upcoming "Supernatural" Season 9. The promo video shows the juicy details on Dean Winchester taking on a rescue mission inside the mind of his brother Sam who ended up in a terrible health condition after trying to close the Gates of Hell in the Season 8 finale.
In the promo trailer, Dean Winchester can be seen worried with the unconscious condition of Sam after finding out from the doctor that his brother's life is in God's hands. Fallen angel Ezekiel appears to help Dean in saving Sam by allowing him to get inside his brother's mind and talk.
"Something happened back there in the church. You're dying, Sam," actor Jensen Ackles who portrays Dean says to co-star Jared Padalecki's character Sam while driving down a road in the Impala. Dean further adds while inside Sam's mind: "Just because you're dying doesn't mean you're dead. We're going to fight this."
The Winchester brothers really need to fight together to overcome this trial on their journey especially with Death waiting for Sam. The extended promo video also shows the reappearance of actor Jim Beaver as Bobby Singer who walks with Sam in his head and tells him "What you call dying, I call leaving a legacy."
Furthermore, demon Crowley appears captured in the promo video by the Winchester boys and Abaddon returns with the plan of grabbing the throne from Crowley. It appears Abaddon will be another big demon problem for Sam and Dean aside from Crowley.
The brand new season of "Supernatural" will be bringing back as well actress Felicia Day who portrays the red-haired hunter and computer expert Charlie Bradbury plus a guest appearance from "Whodunnit" host Gildart Jackson in an important "Men of Letters" flashback. Executive producers Robert Singer and Jeremy Carver previously teased the waiting viewers that the CW TV drama series' new season will feature the extended roles that the angels would portray while on Earth and Dean's big secret that could tear him apart from Sam.
