The latest video interview featuring "Supernatural" stars Misha Collins and Mark Sheppard certainly increases the hype for the fast approaching Season 9 premiere. The actors tease the fans with their characters Castiel and Crowley having an interesting new season when the CW TV fantasy-drama series returns.

For the demon Crowley, Mark Sheppard revealed that his character may have a "residual effect" from the trials conducted in the Season 8 finale but he will still have an "interesting year." The 49-year-old English actor shared: "This should be an interesting year. The so-called cure having not been completed still, I think, has an effect on Crowley, whether he likes it or not. There is some sort of residual effect that we probably will be intersecting with at some point this year, much to Crowley's chagrin."

Another favorite character that will have an interesting twist in "Supernatural" Season 9 is actor Misha Collins' character Castiel. The CW video interview with the 39-year-old actor featured discussions on Castiel's fall which completely transformed the angel into a human being and the other angels having or not having powers.

"Some have some powers, some are completely bereft of powers. Cas is totally human. He is getting for the first time in his life to really experience what it's like to be a human being, things I've been hoping to do for a long time with Cas' character. I'm really excited about that," Mr Collins shared.

Misha Collins and Mark Sheppard will join co-stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles when "Supernatural" Season 9 premieres on Tuesday night, October 8, at 9 p.m. on the CW network with the first episode titled "I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here." A report from the Dread Central Web site reveals the premiere episode synopsis.

The report reads: "Dean (Jensen Ackles) is frantic after Sam (Jared Padalecki) collapses and the doctor tells Dean his brother won't make it. Desperate, Dean sends out an all points bulletin via prayer to every angel in the area, asking them to help his brother. In exchange, Dean will owe that angel a favor. Numerous angry angels race to find and kill Dean, but one, Ezekiel (guest star Tahmoh Penikett), gets to him first. Meanwhile, Sam fights for his life and must face some familiar demons to do so. Castiel (Misha Collins) struggles to survive without powers."
