The previously released CW promo video showed the return of "Supernatural" character Garth Fitzgerald in the second half of Season 9. Now, the latest spoiler reports on the CW TV series claim actor DJ Qualls, who portrays the quirky hunter character, will appear in upcoming Episode 12 titled "Sharp Teeth."

On Thursday, January 9, the CW network released the official description for the upcoming episode having some details about Garth's reunion with Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles). The episode description in the Examiner report reads: "After finding out that Garth (guest star DJ Qualls) is in the hospital, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) go to check on him. Still carrying the guilt over Kevin, Dean lays into Garth about disappearing and demands to know where he's been. Garth makes an excuse and then hightails it away from the guys. Confused as to why Garth would run from them, Sam and Dean do some investigating and are stunned by what they find."

Garth Fitzgerald's last appearance was in Season 8 where he became the new Bobby Singer and was given the task to keep a close eye on Kevin Tran (Oscric Chau) but he just vanished. In the mid-season promo video, Garth can be seen waking up in a hospital bed with the Winchester brothers telling the hunter he is not yet in heaven but in Wisconsin.

Executive producer Jeremy Carver teased in the Enstars report that the answer to the question of where Garth has been will be given. "Viewers will remember he sort of went AWOL when put in charge of guarding Kevin back in season 8 and we'll answer this question, and I think it will be surprising. And there will be hugs," Mr Carver revealed in the Entertainment Weekly report.

To further increase the excitement for "Supernatural" Season 9, Spoiler TV leaked that the title of upcoming Episode 17 is "Mother's Little Helper" in addition to the other interesting episode titles of the TV series. The Cartermatt.com report speculates airing schedule will be in March before another break with the story being extremely scary.

"Supernatural" Season 9 resumes airing on Tuesday night, January 14, at 9 p.m. ET on the CW network. The return of actor DJ Qualls as Garth Fitzgerald is scheduled to air on January 28.
