'Survivor Worlds Apart' Season 30 'Keep It Real' Recap: Hali Ford Becomes First Jury Member [WATCH VIDEOS]
"Survivor Worlds Apart," or "Survivor Season 30" aired its eighth episode titled "Keep It Real" on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 8:00-9:30 p.m., ET/PT on CBS. 25-year-old Hali Ford from San Francisco, California got voted out of the game. She also became the first jury member. Ford stayed on the island for 22 days before her torch got snuffed out by "Survivor" host Jeff Probst. Read on for the "Survivor Worlds Apart" recap.
After 44-year-old Kelly Remington from Grand Island, New York was sent packing in episode 7 "The Line Will Be Drawn Tonight," Rodney put the blame on Mike for causing Jenn to use her idol. They originally planned on targeting Hali instead of Jenn.
Reward Challenge: “Anchorman”
Goal: The remaining castaways had to use a balance beam to transport three bags filled with puzzle pieces to a platform. They needed to complete the anchor-shaped puzzle. The first person who solved the puzzle won the reward.
Prize: Pizza lunch and an afternoon of ziplining.
Winner: Joe Anglim (He took Carolyn, Shirin , Will and Tyler with him to enjoy the reward.)
Immunity Challenge: “Hip To Be Square”
Goal: The castaways must beat each other in another puzzle challenge. This time they needed to navigate a puzzle piece through some slide mazes. Then, they needed to complete a sliding puzzle. The first castaway who solved this puzzle won immunity.
Winner: Joe Anglim
Tribal Council: (7–4 Votes)
Eliminated: Hali Ford
