Lou Reeds and Susan Boyle finally collaborated for a video of the former's classic. Reeds lent the Scottish singer a hand in making a music video for Reed's song "A Perfect Day," covered by Susan Boyle in her new album.

The two had a brief falling out after Reeds refused Susan Boyle's request to give a rendition of the song in Britain's Got Talent. It was later found out that there was a legal obstacle which prevented Reed's from granting permission to Boyle.

Perhaps, to ammend for his earlier refusal, Reed went out of his way and helped in making a music video for Susan Boyle's cover of "A Perfect Day" which was set in Boyle's native Scotland.

"I wanted to create a beautiful and intimate piece shot in Susan's native Scotland and she quickly agreed," Reed told UK's Sunday Mail.

Susan Boyle was quoted by the Entertainment Weekly as saying, " "I loved that Lou understood how much it meant to me to film in Scotland. I didn't mind how much it rained or blew a gale - I enjoyed every minute."

The singer recently released her sophomore album "The Gift" this week. The new album features Lou Reed's "A Perfect Day" as its lead single. Watch the video for "A Perfect Day" below:
