It's another dream come true for Susan Boyle as she will be performing for the Pope when the pontiff visits Scotland next month. Boyle will perform in the September 16 open air celebration of mass in Glasgow's Bellahouston Park.

The invitation to sing before Benedict XVI is Boyle's "greatest dream come true."

Speaking to the Daily Record newspaper, Susan Boyle said that "to be able to sing for the Pope is a great honour" and is something that the singer "have always dreamed of" calling its fulfilment as "indescribable."

"I've always wanted to sing for His Holiness and I can't really put into words my happiness that this wish has come true at last," Boyle said.

The 49-year-old Boyle is expected to perform three songs including her hit I Dreamed A Dream. The Pope will tour the United Kingdom for a four-day visit.
