Galaxy S2 users have been waiting patiently for their Jelly Bean update, but T-Mobile users will have a lot more waiting to do.

Instead of the much-awaited Jelly Bean, T-Mobile rolled out the Android 4.0.4. Ice Cream Sandwich update, reports Gotta Be Mobile.

The Android 4.1 Jelly Bean updates has already been rolled out early this week, with international updates already targeted to UK and Europe Galaxy S2 users, according to Digital Trends.

Updates may be available today, according to Gotta Be Mobile, but it still would not be Jelly Bean. Instead, it will be an advanced version of Ice Cream Sandwich to fix bugs and errors.

Canadian carrier TELUS is set on rolling out Jelly Bean to Samsung Galaxy Note by February, reports G for Games, though there have not been any reports on the exact dates for releas.

As for HTC One X users, the Jelly Bean update is already available and being rolled out by Telus, according to Gadget Insiders.

The Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update has been rolled out Galaxy S II users, with China and Spain being one of the first to receive the updates.

According to SamMobile, among the enhancements brought by the new Jelly Bean include full user interface revamp, TouchWiz Nature UX, Butter Smooth Performance & Great Stability (care of Project Butter), Google Now, Samsung's S Cloud services, better camera features, new Lockscreen with various customization options, new widgets, new notification bars now with more notification toggles, and new features including Smart Stay, Direct Call, and Pop-up Play.
