"Taken 2" has just been released and movie bosses are already in talks about making the third franchise for the "Taken" movie.

Liam Neeson appears on the second installment of "Taken" where he plays the role of an ex-agent who's on the hunt to keep his family safe. With its considerable success in the box office, movie bosses are already planning to make the third installment for the movie. But the question is, who will get taken this time? Will Liam Neeson reprise his role?

Screenwriter Robert Mark Kamen revealed that Fox Pictures have already expressed their interest to make another "Taken" movie. He said that the bosses believe that the movie series will generate a lot of money. Kamen, who has also worked on "Karate Kid", said that the third "Taken" movie is now a possibility.

"We didn't start talking about [Taken 3] until we saw the numbers. But then we said, 'Oh, OK. I think we should do a third one.' And Fox wants us to do a third one," Kamen said.

The original "Taken" movie in 2008 was about an ex-CIA agent played by Liam Neeson whose daughter got kidnapped in Paris. The movie was a hit with over $226 million earnings worldwide. However, "Taken 2" has not lived up as much as the first movie, but given time, it might definitely catch up on its numbers.

If the third "Taken" movie pushes through, Robert admits that the story would need to go in a different direction.

"We've taken everyone we can take - it's going to go in another direction. Should be interesting," Robert said on Hollywood.com.

And although the third movie is not yet officially confirmed, it's most likely that Liam Neeson will reprise his role as Bryan Mills.
