During the SXSW panel the co-creator of “The Walking Dead” Robert Kirkman revealed details for another upcoming game based on the popular franchise, this time under the development of studio Overkill. Branded as “Overkill’s The Walking Dead,” the game will apparently be a multiplayer centric shooter similar in vain to another popular shooter from Overkill, “Payday: The Heist.”IN PHOTO: Mock body parts are displayed at the meeting room for Telltale Games' "The Walking Dead" during E3 2012, the Electronic Entertainment Expo, in Los Angeles June 6, 2012. The premiere episode of "Tales from the Borderlands" will be launched at a live event on Nov. 24. The event will be held at Alamo Drafthouse in Richardson, U.S. For readers who are unable to get a ticket or attend, the event will also be streamed live online. The game has been rated M for mature content like violence and bloodshed.

"Tales from the Borderlands" is about a character called Rhys in the fantasy world of Pandora. The events in the upcoming game are based on the timeline after the "Borderlands 2" game. The game promises a lot of action and humour.

The premiere event will have the producers watch the game along with the audience and make the decisions in the game together. The fans visiting the venue have been encouraged to wear costumes from the gaming franchise. The fans with the best costume will also win some giveaways at the venue. The event will be streamed live on Nedist.com.

The recently launched trailer of "Tales from the Borderlands" shows the protagonist, Rhys, having a disappointing meeting with his new boss. He was working hard to get a promotion, and he finally gets promoted to the position of Assistant Vice Janitor.

Rhys now has to work on a heist of a lifetime that will make him and his companions rich. During the events in the game, Rhys loses the money in the hostile world of Pandora and has to find a way to retrieve the money and pacify his fellow crew members at the same time.

Some of the characters gamers may encounter in "Tales from the Borderlands" are ZerO, Marcus Kincaid, Fiona, Vaughn and Shade. The main villain in the game is Handsome Jack, who is the head of the Hyperion Corporation and dictator of Pandora. Rhys wants to follow in the villain's footsteps and try to get ahead in life.

ZerO is an assassin for hire, and Rhys thinks that he is "cool." Fiona is a con artist who will be working with Rhys. Marcus Kincaid is arms and ammunitions dealer. So far, the producers have revealed Rhys to be the only playable character in the game. "Tales from the Borderlands" will be made available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC and Mac.
