Following the Beatles style, matched with vocal crooning and warped guitar, rock band Tame Impala performed at the Metro in Sydney.

The band's sold out show was described to be extraordinary. Their sound is rare that they are considered to have a league of their own.

Because of their mellow and chilled out manners, they were immediately within the presence of rock stars. Although the Metro Theatre is just appropriate for bands who have already performed there, Tame Impala seemed to need a bigger and more open venue.

The band was able to revive a genre that has been unintentionally forgotten. The vocals of lead singer Kevin Parker, Don Simper's thumping bass, and Jay Watson's crazy drum rolls show how promising Impala is.

The band played songs from their upcoming debut LP called InnerSpeaker, starting with melancholic tracks, followed by an all out rock mode.

Impala ended the show with a crowd favourite track, I Don't Really Mind, performing it along with seven other people on the stage. Afterwards, they immediately left, leaving the crowd hungry for more.

Their sudden exit from the Metro sure left the audience hanging, but they left a mark and people will definitely look forward to more performances from Tame Impala.
