Tara Reid Accused Of Photoshopping: Actress Appears To Have Slimmer Waist In Photos Posted On Instagram
Tara Reid has triggered a controversy after posting a slew of bikini snaps on her Instagram account. The "American Pie" actress has been reportedly blamed for retouching her photos to make herself appear slimmer. She has recieved flak for purposely altering her waistline in the snaps, where she can be seen posing in a cave in Tulum, Mexico.
In one of her photos, she can be seen reclining on a rock while showing of fher skinny body. She is wearing a green bikini and has kept her hair loose. She has accessorised her look with bohemian jewellery. The caption of the photo reads, "a perfect sphere in the middle of the cave! so much fun." Many Instagram users wrote that Reid has Photoshopped the snap while others expressed concern about her skinny frame. "Telling her to eat something isn't a very supportive way of getting your point across. & I've followed her since before the original American Pie, she was thinner then," wrote one of the Instagram users. "Photoshop," wrote another user.
Reid is yet to address the photoshop accusation. The 39-year-old actress has always been in news for her petite frame, according to Eonline. She has been often criticised for her skinny body, though she has always maintained that she is healthy. "I'm not too thin. I was thin for a movie that I just finished...Now they're going to see me and say I'm too fat because I've gained 10 pounds...I can't win," she said to OK magazine in 2008.
Reid has also admitted in the past that she had some bad plastic surgery experience. Right after getting a boob job, she got "some bumps along the edges of her nipple." She has also undergone a body countering operation but her stomach became bulgy after that. She said in one of her interviews that she will never have a perfect body. Reid is best known for her roles in "Saved by the Bell: The New Class," "Days of Our Lives," "California Dreams," and "Scrubs." She rose to fame with "American Pie 2."
