Frustration can get to the best of athletes, even to the ladies of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). And one way to express those frustrations? How about a kiss?

Early in the fourth quarter of Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals between the Phoenix Mercury and Minnesota Lynx, Seimone Augustus was bodying up Phoenix star Diana Taurasi in what looked like a good defensive play from the former.

At this point, the Lynx had a big 26-point lead and Taurasi was getting visibly frustrated. More bumping and grinding from both and suddemly Taurasi suddenly kissed Augustus, probably out of sheer frustration.

The referee called a foul and we have one of the most interesting highlight in the WNBA this season.

The kiss did not work for Taurasi’s Mercury as they failed to overhaul the big lead. Augustus, meanwhile, finished with 18 points and helped the Lynx to a 85-62 smackdown over Phoenix.

Minnesota now has a 1-0 series lead in the best-of-three WNBA Western Conference Finals and can close out the series in Phoenix on Sunday.
