Taylor Swift has not been dating anyone since Harry Styles, but her singlehood is affording her more time to be with her girlfriends, one of them is Lorde. The two were showing off her cute bonding time cooking and travelling since they have become fast friends. Lorde may look intimidating to others, but Taylor loves this about her.

In her cover interview with Rolling Stone, Taylor dishes on what she thinks of Lorde and her special nickname for the "Royals" singer. Taylor calls Lorde "Ella" and thinks she is a "bonfire" that people cannot help but to be drawn.

"It's like this blazing bonfire," Taylor says of her best gal pal. "You can either be afraid of it because it's so powerful and strong or you can go stand near it, because it's fun and it makes you brighter."

It is no secret to Taylor that ever since she swore off dating, her name was linked to the girls she's befriending. She claims this is a positive by-product of not dating and looking for that perfect boy. For her, prioritizing boys can become a hindrance to good friendships.

"When your number-one priority is getting a boyfriend, you're more inclined to see a beautiful girl and think, 'Oh, she's gonna get that hot guy I wish I was dating,' shared the "Red" singer. But when you're not boyfriend-shopping, you're able to step back and see other girls who are killing it and think, 'God, I want to be around her'."

Lorde and Taylor were practically inseparable at this year's Grammy's. They also have done a lot of fun and cute things together. Last month, Taylor posted a picture on her Instagram of them both in a cooking class at Ella's Fine Food and Drink. Considering how rare that is among celebrities, the picture was certainly gush-worthy.

If this collaboration can happen out in the kitchen and in the recording studio, Lorde herself said to Capital FM Radio that it is quite possible. She shared that with Taylor, anything could happen and the sky is the limit. Lorder said Taylor's "Red" single is a testament to how much Taylor can do with music.
