Taylor Swift ‘cheating’ song 'Olé' by Calvin Harris is from Tom Hiddleston's perspective
Calvin Harris has penned down a “cheating” song after his breakup with Taylor Swift. Generally it is Swift who releases songs about her exes but this time Harris has beaten her at her own game with his latest track “Olé.”
It seems the Scottish DJ has not taken his breakup with Swift in the right spirit or he is still not out of it totally. The 32-year-old Harris is set to release the song that seems to indicate he feels Swift cheated on him with her new beau Tom Hiddleston.
The song features John Newman on vocals and “Olé” takes a number of digs at the 26-year-old Swift. It is believed to be from the point of view of the “Thor” actor. The famous character Loki is also mentioned in the lyrics as “low key.”
“Low key you won't tell none of your friends about me,” a line in the song says.
Harris and Swift split end of May after a 15 months affair. On May 2, Swift was seen dancing with Hiddleston at the Met Ball. The two started dating only weeks after Swift’s breakup. Harris, at that time, deleted everything related to Swift from his Instagram.
He posed for photos with groups of girls and was also taking tropical vacations with his friends. However, Harris never spoke ill of Swift publicly.
As per TMZ, Harris sources said that he has no animosity towards Hiddleston and that the “Thor” actor is under Swift’s spell. As per the sources, Harris believes it was Swift who made the “fateful decisions.”
The above photo shows Harris and Newman in Mexico. They reportedly shot the music video south of the border. As per the lyrics of the song, Harris believes Swift hooked up with Hiddleston much before they broke up.
“I see online that you begun to be a good girl and take trips with your boyfriend. Being attentive, continue to pretend ... You've hidden my name in your phone so you can call me to tell me you've been going through hell. Left him alone and you booked in a hotel,” says the lyrics.
Newman tweeted that new music is coming this Friday and that the song will be available on Spotify. Harris even re-tweeted Newman’s message.
