Taylor Swift on Elle Magazine March 2013 Issue: ‘I Never Chase Boys’ [PHOTOS]
Country singer Taylor Swift is the latest cover girl for Elle magazine's March 2013 issue. Fans of the 23-year-old talented singer and songwriter can grab a copy and read the juicy details of her interview when the magazine is released on February 19.
Aside from her music career, Taylor Swift talked about her love life and the rumors surrounding it on the latest Elle magazine issue. Taylor revealed that she has never chased boys nor yelled at an ex-boyfriend.
"I'm sure if I looked up the latest Google Alerts rumor it would say I'm chasing somebody who doesn't like me as much as I like him. People love that angle on me. They're like, 'Oh Taylor, coming on too strong again, chasing boys. I never chase boys. They don't like it!" the young singer exclaimed.
Taylor further divulged: "I don't think I've ever yelled at an ex-boyfriend. Ever. I'm not a yeller. I'm not a fit thrower. If something is done, it's done."
Her songs have been under scrutiny as well. Taylor Swift was even described as a singer who composes a song about her recent break-up and sings about it. In the magazine interview, Taylor Swift simply shrugged off those criticisms.
"To me it's just writing songs the way I always have. It's me sitting on my bed feeling pain I didn't understand, writing a song and understanding it better. If people want to dissect the lyrics, that's their right, but it's all coming from the exact same place as where I started. It's just something I do to feel better," Swift explained.
Meanwhile, actor Michael J. Fox wants Taylor Swift to keep her distance from his 23-year-old son, Sam. It can be recalled that during the 2013 Golden Globes Awards, comedienne Tina Fey hilariously cautioned Taylor Swift to stay away from Michael J. Fox's son.
It may be a comedic warning to some people but the 51-year-old father appears to be dead serious about it. "No. No. Just back off," Fox said to Vulture entertainment news after the suggestion on a "Taylor Swift - Sam Fox" love story. "I don't keep up with it all. But Taylor Swift writes songs about everybody she goes out with, right? What a way to build a career," Fox further added.
