2013 is apparently not Swift's year with all the bad luck happening this early on. Apart from the famous split from One Direction's Harry Styles, Taylor has other bad luck issues which involve public bashing on her Twitter to "Directioner" hate to getting dissed at the Golden Globes 2013. Plus, Swift had to suffer an embarrassing loss to Adele who was ironically absent from the music business for a year.

Swift might have been on a great track last year with her album, "Red" and her two hit singles namely "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" and "I Knew You Were Trouble." While Swift might have won Favorite Country Artist at the recent People's Choice Awards, Swift didn't go un-embarrassed.

Olivia Munn, who presented the award for Favorite Country Singer, at the People's Choice Awards definitely made one Taylor Swift close to tears. The country crooner was once again "Kanye-d" by Olivia Munn after she refused to hand over Swift's award. Though it was clearly a joke on Munn's side, a lot of Swift haters found it extremely funny.

Another hilarious moment Taylor Swift had to endure was losing to Adele for Best Original Song. Adele might have been on a hiatus for a year but that didn't put a stopper on the singer's career. The new mommy picked up her very first Golden Globe Award last night at Beverly Hills, California for the theme song used in the Bond movie, "Skyfall."

Taylor was nominated for the award for the song "Safe & Sound" for "The Hunger Games." However, Swift suffered a tremendous loss to Adele and of course all the video cameras had caught Swift's eye once Adele's win was announced. By the looks of it, Swift wasn't happy for Adele's win. Too bad for Swift, hopefully she manages to win a Grammy by next month.

Apart from suffering the loss to Adele, Swift was publicly dissed by hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. While it was clearly just a joke to get the crowd going, some found it funny.

"You know what Taylor Swift, stay away from Michael J. Fox's son!" said Tina Fey, to which Amy Poehler added, "She needs some me time to learn about herself."

The 22-year old singer might have also been dressing the part of a grown-up in hopes of making Styles jealous. However, Swift's "swift" fashion change won't likely get Harry to come crawling back because news is Styles has already moved on "swift"-ly from Taylor to the gorgeous and sexy model, Cara Delevingne.

January doesn't seem to be Swift's month and hopefully the singer can move on from the bad luck plaguing her this year. If not, Swift could do an Adele move and hope the hiatus proves useful for her career. Everyone else can live without heartbroken songs taken from fake relationship drama.
