Taylor Swift's newest album offers refreshingly no tracks about her exes for the first time. Songwriter's block? Not really, Taylor Swift just have nothing to write on that department. Because believe it or not, the singer has not dated anyone since she broke up with Harry Styles a year and a half ago.

In her Rolling Stone interview, Taylor shared her newest album that is not centered on boys and why. "Different phases of your life have different levels of deep, traumatizing heartbreak," shared Taylor. "And in this period of my life, my heart was not irreparably broken. So it's not as boy-centric of an album, because my life hasn't been boycentric," she added.

She shared that she has not gone on a date since her split with One Direction singer, Harry Styles and writing about not dating anyone will be pathetic, she joked.

It can be remembered that there were speculations that one line in her "Shake It Off" single was in fact for Harry.

The line goes "My ex man brought his new girlfriend, She's like, 'oh my gosh, I'm just gonna shake." Some said this could be a diss on Harry and Kendall Jenner. But if the album is not boycentric, then this line could just be for anyone in general.

When she was asked why she is not going out when she is single, she shared that dating for her now is not easy. She dished that most of the time, some random movie star will get her email address and asks her out, but she said she does not want to go out with them or build a relationship with them because it is difficult. She also hates the fact that who she is dating and who she is not is the business of everybody.

"I feel like watching my dating life has become a bit of a national past time," Taylor shared. "And I'm just not comfortable providing that kind of entertainment anymore. I don't like seeing slide shows of guys I've apparently dated. I don't like giving comedians the opportunity to make jokes about me at awards shows. I don't like it when headlines read 'Careful, Bro, She'll Write a Song About You,' because it trivializes my work. And most of all, I don't like how all these factors add up to build the pressure so high in a new relationship that it gets snuffed out before it even has a chance to start. And so," she says, "I just don't date."

For the record, she does not do casual hook-ups to. She does not believe in hooking up with people she does not love. Nor has she the energy to do so, Taylor shared.
