When it comes to Taylor Swift, fans and the media care about who she is best friends with as much as they are interested on who she's dating. Ironically, Taylor Swift's are also famous people so fans are more interested. For Taylor Swift however, having her famous friends around is fun and unlike what most artists would say, these famous friends are the ones she could trust.

It's not surprising to have frenemies in the entertainment industry. Celebrities often have to look out for other celebrity friends that are out to get them or bring them down. But not Taylor Swift. For her, her famous friends are the ones she could really relate to and trust. And because this is Taylor Swift, who her best friends are matters as much as who her boyfriends are. Some of the famous artists that the "Shake It Off" singer have in her posse are Selena Gomez, Lena Dunham, Jamie King, Lorde, and Karlie Kloss. The moment Taylor and Lorde hang out with each other, the media is on them like there's no tomorrow.

Taylor is not worried about her friends dissing her behind her back or doing other untrustworthy things though. In an interview in the October 20 issue of People Magazine, the country pop singer shares that all of them accepts her for who she is.

"They are so fun and know me and like me for who I actually am," she said. "It's really wonderful to have someone like Lena Dunham in my life. We have the same responsibility and the same pressure that's on you when you write every single word you end up performing."

She feels that she can trust them, especially since they're all the same: not party goers and hardworking. "We related on different levels, but the one common thread between all of my friends is I can trust them. They aren't really much for going out to bars or clubs or anything. They're not really as interested in that and I'm not either, so it works out pretty well," the singer detailed.
