Taylor Swift & Selena Gomez Bonded Over Jonas Brother Break-Up
They may be worshipped by millions of fans all over but the pop princess' duo Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez bond over the same things as average girls do: fashion, music, food, work, boyfriends and of course their ex's.
The adorable BFF's have been close since 2008 and they have been inseparable ever since. During an interview with Citytv Canada Taylor mentioned that their earliest bonding moment happened when both of them were going through heartbreak, probably the one caused by the infamous Jonas brothers. Since Taylor dated Joe Jonas and Selena dated Nick Jonas around the same time this must be the heartbreak moment she was talking about.
"One of our early on friendship bonding moments was a couple years ago when both of us were really going through heartbreak situations. I just called her and I was like, "I'll be over there in ten minutes with a bunch of junk food.' Ever since then, we're just been kinda like sisters, it's more of like a sister bond. We've known each other since the time that we were both like here (pointing down) and then things kind of sped up with our careers and things went (motioning uphill) at the same time and our friendship stayed intact," explained the country crooner.
Aside from the common heartbreak they shared these best friends currently have famous beaus namely Conor Kennedy and Justin Bieber. And if their friendship is as normal as it seems these two undoubtedly gush about them when they're together - a conversation fans would definitely want to get their hands on!
While the "Red" singer dishes on her latest album, the story of her hit song, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together", the pressure she goes through to make her album a success, Swift also describes what her friendship with Selena is like.
"When Selena and I get together we're not like 'So what scripts have you read lately? Or 'Have you gotten any really good music video ideas lately?" says Taylor to E'!'s Jason Kennedy with a little hint of sarcasm, adding, "It's just about our lives as human beings... about love and stuff."
