Taylor Swift is desperate for an image change and rumour has it that the country crooner is looking up to Miley Cyrus for inspiration. According to countless gossip sites, Swift is just about ready to have her long blonde locks chopped off just like Cyrus. Is this really the perfect image change Swift is looking for?

After being dissed over being a "serial dater", Swift is ready to have a change of image starting off with her looks. Swift is allegedly looking up to Miley Cyrus to have her hair chopped off in the same pixie cut.

"Taylor Swift is desperate for an image overhaul and wants to model herself after good-girl-gone-bad Miley Cyrus," says an insider to Star Magazine, adding, "[Taylor's in] awe of Miley's drastic style and hair change. [She's] studying Miley's every move and even called her stylist about chopping her hair."

However, before "Swifties" could rush to stop Taylor Swift's drastic move, Gossip Cop had knocked down the rumours first hand. A source close to Swift claimed that the "Red" singer would "no way" opt for a Cyrus-styled makeover.

This wouldn't be surprising given Cyrus would be the least person Swift would be taking inspiration after Cyrus' dig at her on Twitter. Back in December, Miley took an obvious jab at Swift all thanks to Ken Baker's tweet which as follows.

"[Miley] is called a s**t or b**ch everyday. Has been with the same guy for more than three years and is engaged to him."

Miley immediately retweeted Ken Baker's tweet and added, "people are idiots and call me a S**T when I am engaged at 20 cuz I am madly in love with ONE man. Just happy someone admitted it."

Another tweet that sure proves things aren't sweet and friendly between Swift and Cyrus was the latters' rant on Twitter about Swift and Gomez fans. According to Cyrus, Swift and Gomez fans are keen to tweet her death threats. Reps for Swift and Gomez have yet to speak up the Twitter hate.

As for Swift, Cyrus' bleached blonde pixie cut is a hair change she isn't sure to be copying anytime soon. Thank goodness for that.
