Taylor Swift is no stranger to the limelight ever since she became famous as a singer and as a teen icon. This is also the reason why her style is emulated by women (young and old) everywhere as she always manages to be feminine and graceful at all times especially during red carpet events.

One of the things that could be noticed with Taylor Swift is that she manages to look timeless but still age appropriate. Many celebrities that are young usually try to look mature during red carpet events which make them look older and gauche.

On the other hand, celebrities that are mature are trying to look young through their dresses; thus making them look like they are trying too hard. This is not a problem when it comes to Taylor Swift since she finds a balance between these two factors.

An example could be her latest red carpet look for the 2012 Billboard Music Awards. Taylor Swift wore a red Elie Saab lace chiffon gown which has a lace bodice, a round neckline, and it also has a flowy chiffon full skirt. Taylor opted not to go with the thigh high slit which was the original design of the gown making it a bit conservative though still modern.

Aside from looking good, the country singer was also a big winner that night. She took away the award for the "Billboard Woman of the Year". In celebration of her good fashion sense and her big award, here is a compilation of Taylor Swift's best red carpet looks.
