Taylor Swift and Lorde have let bygones be bygones, putting an end to the rift that resulted from the New Zealand sensation’s comment.

The duo was last seen hanging out in Melbourne, Australia, on Dec. 12, 2013. Mail Online reports that the Taylor, who is on her Red Tour Down Under, and Lorde headed to Hibatchi Japanese Grill restaurant to celebrate Swift’s 24th birthday.

“Taylorde” was spotted at the restaurant with some other friends. Swift was described by Mail Online looking ladylike and girly in a “festive red low-cut dress.” The “I Knew You Were Trouble” singer kept her hair down.

The 17-year-old Lorde, for her part, had kept her signature look --- unkempt hair and blue dress.

The union may have just been an ordinary birthday bash for a celebrity had the pop singers not made the headlines in recent months for the reported feud.

It will be recalled that the pop singers have been at odds since Lorde caused offense when she described the “Our Song” singer as “flawless and so unattainable,” said Contact Music.

''I don't think it's breeding anything good in young girls,” Lorde said of Taylor, according to Contact Music, citing a report by New Zealand’s Metro magazine.

The NZ singer later retracted her statement and asserted that her words were taken out of context.

But before their recent meet up in Melbourne, it has been reported that Taylor and Lorde have patched things up earlier this month. Contact Music noted that a photo showing Taylor and Lorde chatting outside a café in New York had gone viral, sending a message that things are now okay between them.

In another occasion, Swift was seen jumping off to the audience with Lorde in it and gave the teen singer a hug. Photos of the Taylorde moment were posted on Twitter, said Contact Music.

While Taylor comes out big patching things up with Lorde, critics now fear what Selena Gomez would think. Taylor and Selena are best of friends way before the former met Lorde. The BFFs even dated the Jonas brothers at the same time as Selena revealed in November 2013.

Fans fear what would come out of the Taylorde meet up since the NZ singer had also dissed Selena on September 2013.

According to the HollywoodLife.com, Lorde trashed Selena’s hit song, “Come and Get it.”

“The theme of her song is, 'When you’re ready come and get it from me',” Lorde was quoted as saying in a radio interview by HL.

“I’m sick of women being portrayed this way,” she added.

Things heated up for Selena and Lorde when Justin Bieber’s ex hit back at the Auckland native.

“That’s not feminism. [Lorde is] not supporting other women. That’s my honest opinion, that’s what I would say to her if I saw her,” Selena said, noted HL. “I actually covered her song in all of my shows that I’ve done so far. I’m not sure if I’m going to continue that,” she added.

Will Selena follow Taylor’s steps and work things out with Lorde?
