Britney Spears has released a number of short video clips as teaser for the formal premiere of her latest album, “Femme Fatale”. The pop singer is scheduled to hold the official premiere of her album on MTV on February 17, Wednesday.

The teasers chosen by Britney’s camps are few-seconder video clips of her album’s controversial single, “Hold It Against Me”. The move, according to ContactMusic.com is a marketing strategy of Britney’s camp in order to drum up the upcoming official launch of her latest album.

Citing the MTV News, ContactMusic.com said that the singer in the selected clips is featured ‘dancing in a light-filled room, revealing a bustier performer in hot pants and boots'.The websote also noted that with the teasers, the fans of the popular singer have had a ‘taste’ of what to expect from the controversial music video, directed by Jonas Akerlund.

The album, named by the pop singer herself, has created noise last week following reports that Akerlund had used another dancer in her place for some movements that Britney had reportedly failed to pull through during the shoot. TMZ, noted the International Business Times in a separate report, identified the 'double dancer' as Allison Kyler.

This was however, denied strongly by Britney’s choreographer, Brian Friedman. He said in the same report by IBT that Britney’s performance on “Hold It Against Me’ single can give her a chance to “reclaim her throne as Queen of Pop”.
