Another "Teen Mom" star is in trouble. MTV reality TV personality Jenelle Evans has been arrested for attacking her husband and for possession of heroin.

Evans, 21, was arrested in her home in North Carolina on Tuesday after police responded on a domestic violence call.

She allegedly struck her husband Courtland Rogers with a piece of furniture. She was found to be in illegal possession of prescription painkiller Percocet, as well as a plastic wrapping paper and a glass smoking pipe, both considered to be illegal drug paraphernalia.

The court documents, which were obtained by U.S. celebrity website TMZ, also state that cops discovered 12 bindles of heroin in the former teen party girl's possession when they arrived at her home.

Rogers was arrested as well when cops learned that he assaulted his young wife by "hitting her on the neck and striking her with a closed fist on her head."

Rogers was also in possession of heroin with intent to manufacture, sell, and distribute, as well in possession of drug paraphernalia. The couple denied the possession of heroin.

Evans was released from jail on US$20,000 bond later the same day. She is now facing criminal charges for simple assault, possession of heroin with intent to manufacture, sell and distribute, simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

This isn't the volatile teen mom's first legal offense. Viewers of the TV series are aware of her struggles with drug addiction in the past and her constant run-ins with the law.

She has a son, 3-year-old Jace, from a previous relationship. She married Rogers in December 2012, but announced that she had split with him after just a few weeks. She suffered a miscarriage earlier this year after allegedly abusing her body with drugs.
