"Teen Wolf" Season 4, Episode 2 made it up to the fans who missed actor Tyler Hoechlin in the new season's premiere episode. In Episode 1 titled "The Dark Moon," Scott (Tyler Posey) and his pack saved a younger Derek Hale (Ian Nelson) in Mexico and it is now up to them to deal with the teenager Derek and find out if they can bring him back to his present form.

Spoiler Alert: This feature contains major spoilers on "Teen Wolf" Season 4, Episode 2 titled "117." The episode begins with the younger version of Peter Hale (Michael Fjordbak) teaching the teenager Derek to control his werewolf transformation with the triskelion.

Then, Kate Argent (Jill Wagners) appears to be having a hard time in controlling her were-jaguar transformation at a gas station. Scott, Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) and Lydia (Holland Roden) brought young Derek to Dr. Deaton (Seth Gilliam) at the animal clinic.

Dr. Deaton sliced Derek's arm as a test and found out that he can heal really fast. Dr. Deaton decided to try something else with Lydia's help but Derek woke up as a werewolf and attacked the doctor before fleeing the clinic. Derek showed up at the Hale house with no idea of the tragedy that happened there.

When the police tried to make him leave, Derek got upset and almost attacked the two men. At the station, records revealed that the young boy is Derek Hale and Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby) kept looking at the teenage Derek and the present form Derek in the file record.

Scott and Stiles showed up at the station to explain what is going on to the Sheriff. Scott decided to talk to Derek to tell him the truth and they could help but he had a hard time revealing what really happened to his family so he ended up lying.

To keep young Derek safe, Scott told Stiles to stay at his house with Derek as the Alpha werewolf talks to Peter Hale (Ian Bohen). Malia (Shelley Hennig) insisted to go with Scott and so it resulted to the first father-and-daughter meeting between the two.

Meanwhile, Stiles was covering up Derek's identity to Scott's dad as the FBI Agent father tries to bond with his son by having dinner. At the loft, Peter told Scott that Kate turned Derek back to a teenager because it was the time in his life that he trusted her.

Peter also figured out that the reason Kate did that to Derek is to get the triskelion stone which he used in teaching Derek to control his transformation at the Hale's secret vault below Beacon Hills High. Scott, Malia and Peter head to the vault to stop Kate's plan but the creepy-looking creatures with skull showed up.

Peter revealed that the supernatural creatures are the Berserkers after hearing their growl. Scott, Malia and Kira (Arden Cho), who showed up at the school to help, fight off the Berserkers but they were no match no their strength. Derek heard Scott's werewolf growl so he left Kate and Peter at the vault to help the Alpha.

Peter revealed to Kate that the triskelion was just an object and it was anger and hatred that made Derek control his transformation. The two were about to fight off when a mysterious character showed up, suffocated Peter and took something at the vault. As for Kate, the were-jaguar left the scene.

While fighting the Berserkers, Derek's present form started to surface and the creatures suddenly ran off in the middle of their fight. Scott called out to Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) and he turned around to show his yellow Beta eyes.

Peter still cannot believe that someone took something from his vault as Lydia and Stiles arrived. Lydia asked what was taken from the vault and Peter revealed that someone took $117 million worth of money from him.
