Scott McCall, played by Tyler Posey, and his pack will continue to face trouble in the upcoming episode of “Teen Wolf” Season 5. A promo video for “Teen Wolf” Season 5, episode 5 titled “A Novel Approach” teases the next move of the MTV series’ villains such as the Dread Doctors, Theo, played by Cody Christian; and an aggressive Beacon Hills teenage prisoner named Donovan, played by Ashton Moio.
Spoiler alert: This feature contains major spoilers on “Teen Wolf” Season 5.
In the released Season 5 promo video shared on YouTube, it seems the Beacon Hills gang is searching for answers about their enemy called the Dread Doctors in the Eichen House. “What do they want?” asks Lydia, played by Holland Roden.
“Everybody wants something, don’t they?” a menacing male voice responds. Then Scott tells someone over the phone that bodies are getting stolen.
It looks like Scott will be after Deputy Parrish, played by Ryan Kelley, for the stolen bodies because the mysterious supernatural creature took the dead body of Lucas, a teenage victim of the Dread Doctors, to the Nemeton in the previous episode titled “Condition Terminal.”
The next scenes in the promo video show Theo yelling at Malia, played by Shelley Hennig, to stop the car; Scott and Kira, played by Arden Cho, talking about the Dread Doctors’ chimera creations and Stiles’ life in danger. In “Teen Wolf” Season 5, episode 4 titled “Condition Terminal,” the Dread Doctors turned an aggressive teenage boy named Donovan into a powerful supernatural creature. The ending scene of the previous episode showed Donovan attacking Stiles, played by Dylan O'Brien, at a parking lot while Stiles was fixing his jeep with tape.
Theo, who is working with the Dread Doctors, knows that Donovan wants to get back at Sheriff Stilinski, played by Linden Ashby, for throwing him in jail due to his belligerent behavior. It was Theo who convinced Donovan to attack Stiles instead because he knows that going after someone who Sheriff Stilinski loves would cause him a devastating and emotional pain that will last.
Find out if Scott and his pack will find the answers they are looking for at the Eichen House in “Teen Wolf” Season 5, episode 5 titled “A Novel Approach.” The brand new episode is scheduled to air on Monday night, July 20, at 10/9c on MTV.
