'Teen Wolf' season 5 spoilers: Episode 8 sneak peek video teases tender Liam-Hayden moment

“Teen Wolf” character Liam Dunbar, played by Dylan Sprayberry, thinks there is no harm in trying if he has the ability to take away pain like Scott McCall, played by Tyler Posey. The sneak peek video for the next episode of the MTV series teased a tender Liam-Hayden moment as Liam tries to ease Hayden’s pain from the Dread Doctors’ attack. “Teen Wolf” Season 5, episode 8 titled “Ouroboros” will air on Monday night, Aug. 10, at 10/9c on MTV.

Spoiler Alert: This feature contains major “Teen Wolf” spoilers.

In the previous episode titled “Strange Frequencies,” Scott’s plan to protect Hayden Romero, played by Victoria Moroles, and capture one of the Dread Doctors failed. The next episode’s sneak peek video begins with Liam checking in on Hayden after the Dread Doctors attacked them.

After seeing that Hayden is in pain, Liam takes Hayden’s hand and explains that there is something that Scott does to take away the pain. “I’ve never done it before but I can try,” Liam declares. However, Liam’s attempt did not work so he apologised to Hayden. Liam continues to hold Hayden’s hand to console her from the pain of the Dread Doctors’ attack on them.

The synopsis of “Teen Wolf” Season 5, episode 8 in TV Guide teased that Scott McCall and Malia Tate, played by Shelley Hennig, will be rescuing Liam and Hayden from the Dread Doctors. The episode synopsis further added that Dr. Alan Deaton, played by Seth Gilliam, will make a horrific discovery about the mysterious villains currently terrorising Beacon Hills.

The other storylines expected to unfold in the new episode include Theo Raeken’s connection to the Dread Doctors and Kira’s out-of-control kitsune power. Scott’s pack is still unaware that Theo, played by Cody Christian, is working with the Dread Doctors but Stiles Stilinski, played by Dylan O’Brien, is already suspicious of the new character.

Meanwhile, Kira Yukimura, played by Arden Cho, continues to lose control over her kitsune powers. Kira’s electric power went haywire in episode 5 titled “A Novel Approach,” wherein she almost killed her 900-year-old kitsune mother during a face-off in episode 7 titled “Strange Frequencies.”

In the previous episode, Kira eventually killed a female chimera as shown in the ending scene. Scott’s nurse mom, played by Melissa Ponzio, was shocked to find the dead body inside their house with Kira’s sword sticking out.
