'Teen Wolf' Season 5B spoilers: 5 characters expected to appear in MTV series' second half episodes

Familiar faces could return in the second half of “Teen Wolf” Season 5 in January 2016. “Teen Wolf” series creator Jeff Davis has teased in an interview the characters that could return to Beacon Hills as Scott McCall, played by Tyler Posey, tries to reunite his pack and defeat his enemies such as Theo Raeken, played by Cody Christian, and the Dread Doctors in “Teen Wolf” Season 5B.

Listed below are the 5 characters expected to be seen in “Teen Wolf” Season 5B:

1. Kira Yukimura, played by Arden Cho. Kira, who has been having problems controlling her kitsune powers, decided to leave Beacon Hills with her family in “Teen Wolf” Season 5, episode 8 titled “Ouroboros” to find out what the Dread Doctors did to her. Davis revealed in an interview with TVLine that the fans will see Kira’s return in episode 12.

Meanwhile, Davis teased in an Entertainment Weekly (EW) interview that Kira will have a big episode in “Teen Wolf” Season 5B. The episode will be about Kira and Noshiko, played by Tamlyn Tomita, trying to figure out how to tame Kira’s fox spirit in New Mexico.

2. Derek Hale, played by Tyler Hoechlin. Braeden’s return in the mid-season finale episode titled “Status Asthmaticus” had the “Teen Wolf” fans excited about Derek’s return as well. When asked if Derek Hale will return in “Teen Wolf” Season 5B, Davis told EW that the writers are not sure about the storyline on the evolved Derek Hale yet.

3. Chris Argent, played by J.R. Bourne. Hunter Chris Argent was last seen in “Teen Wolf” Season 4 teaming up with the Calaveras to look for Kate Argent, played by Jill Wagner, Chris’ were-jaguar sister. The “Teen Wolf” fans can expect to see Chris Argent in “Teen Wolf” Season 5B.

Davis revealed to TVLine that he told actor J.R. Bourne to keep the beard for his hunter character. It would be interesting as well to see Kate and the Calaveras in the second half of “Teen Wolf” Season 5.

4. Dr. Gabriel Valack, played by Steven Brand. Davis assured that the fans will still see Dr. Valack in the premiere episode of “Teen Wolf” Season 5B. In “Teen Wolf” Season 5, episode 5 titled “A Novel Approach,” Dr. Valack told Lydia Martin, played by Holland Roden, and Stiles Stilinski, played by Dylan O’Brien, that they should read the book he wrote about the Dread Doctors before breaking out of the Eichen House.

Davis teased that the “Teen Wolf” character with a third eye will have a lot to say when he returns. “And what you’re also going to realize is he’s not exactly the bad guy he might seem to be. He may actually be one of the good guys,” Davis told EW.

5. Peter Hale, played by Ian Bohen. It would be interesting to see in “Teen Wolf” Season 5B what happened to Peter Hale after he was locked up in a special ward at the Eichen House with Dr. Valack as his cell mate in the finale episode “Teen Wolf” Season 4. Dr. Valack mentioned about his former cell mate while talking to Lydia and Stiles at the Eichen House.
