‘Teen Wolf’ season 6 episode 5 updates: Return of Stiles

Social media promotions of “Teen Wolf” hinted at the return of Stiles (Dylan O’ Brien) in season 6 episode 5 “Radio Silence.” The episode, which aired Tuesday in the US, shows Stiles gloriously returning after he was last seen in season 6 episode 1, “Memory Lost.”

In season 6 episode 1, Stiles was erased from the memory of his family and friends after his encounter with the Ghost Riders. Episode 5, “Radio Silence,” reveals the whereabouts of Stiles. He is seen sitting on a bench in a train station. Stiles meets Peter (Ian Bohen) and realises that the place is not Beacon Hill as it does not have a railway station. He becomes determined to escape from the place.

Peter, Stiles and an outlaw try to make plans to escape the place. This random guy thinks that he could jump on the back of a horse and pass through the supernatural portal. However, his plan fails as he turns to ashes on hitting the portal.

Peter feels that they are stuck forever. He says, “We don’t exist, and we are already forgotten.” Stiles persists, “Somebody’s gonna remember me.”

On the other hand, Lydia (Holland Roden) sits in class and notices that a tow truck is taking away Stiles’ car. She goes outside to stop it and is followed by Scott (Tyler Posey). She pays cash to the man who was driving the tow truck.

Meanwhile at the railway station, Stiles follows the intercom wires that lead him to a radio room. Stiles and Peter create a frequency to connect to Lydia, Scott and Malia (Shelley Hennig). Scott, Lydia and Malia hear the noise that was coming from the radio of Stiles’ car. Scott gets a scent and realises they have been in that car.

Lydia finds the deeds of the car and finds the address to be the Stilinski household. To her disappointment, Claudia (Joey Honsa) claims that the car was stolen 18 years ago.

Peter, back at the station, is convinced that the Ghost Riders will never stop and decides to try the portal. He hops back on the horse of a Ghost Rider and escapes.

He is burned and is found by Malia. Both Scott and Malia recognise him to be Malia’s father and find Stiles’ keys clasped in his hand. Lydia tries the keys and it works on Stiles’ car.

Stiles returns to the radio saying, “Is anyone there? Can anyone hear me?” They hear him. Stiles asks Lydia if she remembers him to which she replies, “You said, ‘Remember I love you.’” He asks them to find Canaan and the connection is lost again.

“Radio Silence” was a much speculated episode of season 6. The MTV show “Teen Wolf” airs on Tuesdays at 9PM in the US. In Australia, "Teen Wolf" season 6 starts from January on FOX8.
