Two fan favourite characters Bebop and Rocksteady will reportedly be featured in "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2" movie. The two characters have been featured in the animation series in the past but this may be the first time that fans will get to see the characters in the movie theatres.

The producers of "Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles 2" have so far not confirmed who the main villain in the upcoming movie will be. But according to a report by Collider, the characters Bebop and Rocksteady are set to appear in the movie.

Readers who have watched the animation series from the franchise will remember that Bebop is a mutant who looks like a boar and grunts most of the time while speaking. Rocksteady is a mutant that looks like a rhinoceros. The two were created using the same ooze that led to the mutation of the turtles.

The two characters were shown to physically much stronger than the mutant turtles but they get beat every time because of their low intelligence. The two characters like to use modern weapons, especially machine guns, as opposed to the turtles who use traditional weapons like swords.

Another character that may reportedly feature in "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2" is Casey Jones, a character that has appeared in both the animation series as well as in the movies in the past. Casey Jones is a hockey stick wielding vigilante who teams up with the mutant turtles to help them fight criminals like the Foot Clan of Shredder.

The characters Bebop and Rocksteady were reportedly supposed to feature in the 2014 movie "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles." The concept art depicting the two characters were also reportedly commissioned but the characters along with Casey Jones character did not feature in the movie.

Dave Green is said to be in talks to direct "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2." The director is known for his work in the movie "Earth to Echo." The first movie with its motion capture technology was a big hit at the box office. Will the addition of Bebop, Rocksteady and Casey Jones propel the upcoming movie to new heights at the box office?
