Earlier, another video was released featuring “Street Fighter” veteran Akuma. Spotted by Polygon, the video shows Akuma’s capabilities for his “Tekken 7: Fated Retribution” cameo appearance. The sad part, however, is that Akuma does not have access to the Rage Attack, and will instead have the traditional meter for when using his EX moves.
The trailer, seen in the link above, shows a couple of gameplay scenes for “Tekken 7 Fated Retribution.” A lot of characters can be seen in the video, including Kazuya, Paul, Alisa, Asuka, Bryan Fury, an eye-patched Hwoarang, Devil Kin and Steve Fox. The characters are noticeably sporting new outfits. Players also get a look at Akuma in all his demonic glory. There are already screenshots of the outfits of the characters, as obtained by EventHubs.
A crossover character who will be making a cameo appearance in “Tekken 7 Fated Retribution” is Akuma. Known as the Great Demon, Akuma showcases his Raging Demon special attack, as is befitting of his name.
One way to beat Akuma’s fireballs is through dodging and sidestepping moves for Iron Fist tournament opponents. According to the report, Akuma seems to have an ability to cancel move animations so he can string together some combo moves.
Akuma is not the only character that’s new to with the “Tekken 7” update. Forbes reported that Nina Williams, one of the fans’ favourites, is also coming back. “Tekken 7 Fated Retribution” is setting fans up with some pretty sweet new features. Apart from the Rage Arts, there is also some extensive customisation for characters, as well as a good multiplayer mode.
Location tests are already set to start on Feb. 12, since “Tekken 7 Fated Retribution” is scheduled to arrive in arcades come summer time. Of course, PS4 players can look forward to the game on the PS4. Bandai Namco has also confirmed support for PlayStation VR support.
