Sweet Disposition, Melbourne band Temper Trap's international hit, got nominated for APRA's Song of the Year.

Also nominated in the same category are Sarah Blasko's All I Want, Kate Miller-Heidke's Last Day on Earth, Empire of the Sun's We are the People and Troy Cassar-Daley's Big Big Love.

Battling for the Most Played on Radio award are the Living End's Raise the Alarm, Jessica Mauboy's Been Waiting, Evermore's Hey Boys and Girls, Eskimo Joe's Foreign Land and Jet's She's a Genius.

Nominees for Urban Work of the Year include Phrase, Jessica Mauboy, Pez, Bliss N Eso and Hilltop Hoods, whereas the Sneaky Sound System, the Presets, Empire of the Sun and Zoe Badwi contest for Dance Work.

The announcement of the APRA Award winners will happen in Sydney on June 21.
